Farewell

Hello Members & Friends,

As many of you are aware from our last member conference, I had previously decided not to seek re-election for president in the upcoming board election. My intention was to serve out my term as president until the end of the year. However, I have decided to step down as of June 16th. This decision was made to prioritize my mental and physical well-being. I leave knowing that the board is fully functional and highly capable of advancing our club to the next level.

Over the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know most of you, and some of us have even become very good friends. This bond will certainly continue. I’m choosing to prioritize self-care, as it has become increasingly necessary for me.

Being president of a club like this has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Seeing our club grow and change as a direct result of our work has been satisfyingLeading this club has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s been incredibly satisfying to witness our club’s growth and evolution, knowing it’s a direct result of our collective efforts.

Thank you all for the amazing ride. I will never forget my time as president, it was an experience of a lifetime.
