Name the Mutual Support System

In the next month or so we’re going to be rolling out a new system to help our people to support each other.  People have asked over the years how they can buy other members dinner, how to donate their meal that they prepaid for but couldn’t redeem, or just make it easier for people to come to the Club. We finally figured it out – it’s low tech and weird (just the way we like it) and we’re excited to share.

But first we need to name it.  We are going to have a board up back behind the bar that’s going to need some signage. We’re thinking 4 words, or 7 if it’s a header and a second smaller line. Our initial thought was Mutual Support Dinners, but that doesn’t really have a ring to it. We’d also like for it to not feel like charity or make anyone in any way feel apprehensive about redeeming one for any reason. We’d like a name that actively encourages usage…

Also – any language that you like to describe what we’re doing would be helpful. When we roll out the system we’re going to need a paragraph or 2 to let people know what we’re aiming to achieve and why. Something a little more descriptive and radical than “buy each other dinner.”
