A Note from Amelia – May 24, 2023
We are collectively a stone cold pack of weirdos and I’m so thankful for where the Club is at this moment in time.
Change has been in the air and we’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes in ways that I’m sure you’ve seen (like our wacky new membership video) and ways that you’re probably not aware of (like recently signing up for a composting service.)
Our spring has been full of growth, but as Memorial Day approaches we are turning the wheel to a moment of rest. Thursday the 25th is Taco Night and then we are going dark for 13 days as we take a breath. It feels so luxurious start off Pride Month by taking a Radical Queer Rest!!!!
We are taking the first week off to be feral and work on projects for ourselves as humans…. Oh, it’s such a delight.
Thank you SO MUCH to Eva and everyone who has invested so much work into making the yard such a lovely place to be. Take care of yourselves as we make this transition into summer 2023!
