Message from the President – March 30, 2022
What’s good CPC members and friends?! I hope you are as excited about spring at the club as I am. I have been a member for 4 years now and the growth of the club blows my mind. I am so very happy to be a part of such a thriving community.
There is some business to cover in this message tho. A big thank you to everyone who helped write and edit the bylaws. Your hard work, dedication, and love for our club created some well-written and meaningful bylaws that will serve as a firm foundation for our growing community. The next step to make these bylaws official is to ratify them. We need you to vote and give your approval of our bylaws. We will open voting on April 1, 2022. It is very important for your participation and as a thank you Amelia has agreed to give gift certificates for her amazing food to everyone who votes.
Before we ratify our bylaws we are going to hold a quick special election for the board positions. All positions are up for nominations, please feel free to nominate those who already hold the position or choose someone else for the seat. Nominations opened on March 18, 2022 and will close on March 25, 2022. We will then hold an official election from March 27, 2022 until April 1, 2022. We will announce our official elected board shortly after.
Voting is for members only and if you don’t know your member number by heart, Amy made a doo dadd thingy to automatically look up your member number. She is a genius and we are so lucky to have her!
Y’all! I know that was a lot and you know if you have any questions you can reach out to any one of us. We are here to make sure you have the best time at CPC!
On a personal note. Even though this is my first official message to you as president and I am just getting used to sitting in this seat, please consider voting for me. I love this club very much and I am here to see it continue to grow and prosper. Mariasha left some big shoes to fill and I hope I can stand for the task.
