A Note from Amelia – December 14, 2022
Thank you all so much for an amazing 2022 here at the CPC! I know that the year isn’t over yet, but it’s so close I can practically taste it…
I’m really looking forward to my January break from the day in/ day out work that it takes to keep the Club open and functional. I can’t wait to have some time to catch up on all the foundational computer work I do and hopefully even get ahead. I love the January break because it feels so good to be able to conceptualize the new year ahead of us, think about what kinds of events seem weird and fun to me, and what improvement projects I want to tackle.
I also love that taking a month off of events allows us to energetically relaunch the Club for every year… To decide what works for us, what we want to take into the new year, and what things we’ve outgrown. How many other metaphors can I come with for this? Well, let’s see…
