A Note from Amelia – May 4,2022

The Club has gone through so many chapters and volumes since I started this work of creating space. I’m so proud of all the labor we, me and so many significant other collaborators, have put into manifesting this weird and wonderful space.

I’m so excited to embark on this new chapter that we are currently moving into. I am shifting into my new role of Executive Director and am no longer a voting member of the Board of Directors. I assure you that in addition to all the logistical challenges involved, I have also done a tremendous amount of work in therapy about letting go and believing in the sustainability of what we’ve built.

I see my role as the Executive Director as giving Club Members a reason to get together and a place to do it. I will still be producing most of the events on the Club’s calendar and making sure our Clubhouse is a warm and inviting place to be, so basically the same job that I’ve been doing for the last 7+ years, just with a new title and fewer responsibilities.
