From the Secretary’s Desk – March 20, 2025

Come closer, I am going to hold your hand while I say this.

It’s time for a big change here at CPC.

We need to change Member systems.

I know, I know. Listen, I get it.

It’s annoying and frustrating and eye-roll inducing.

But it also necessary.

In my best Marissa Tomei voice – Would you like me to explain?

(In mt best Mandy Patinkin voice – No, there is too much. Let me sum up.)

Our old system was completely analog and completely a slog that took hours each week to go through and at best was about 80% accurate.

I went through many member systems looking for one that has best features for the right prices.

We settled on Club Express.

Club Express has been an amazing for many reasons. Sign ups and renewals are automatic through the system, it provides metrics and template emails, and most of all a dues processing system that trackable and customizable. However, we are ready for more from our system and Club Express cannot scale up with us.

So we are moving a system called ARMember. It will all be done on the cpcbalt site and will give us more functionality. For you, it’s just a different system you have to have a log in for – another password to remember.

But we hope it is overall better for you – log in one the same site you order in, more coupons and specials for members, and a dedicated person for you to go to for your member concerns – Auryn.

The timeline will start this month with us moving you over to the system, and the system sending you your new log in and password. You will not incur any new charges or change your renewal date.

Thank you for sticking with us in every iteration of our growth – it will not be linear or neat, but always necessary.
