Dear CPC Supporter,
Last month, we celebrated a decade of the Clifton Pleasure Club as we know—a place that’s become an queer institution in Baltimore. In these times it is crucial that we support our welcoming spaces as we face a challenging 4 years ahead. We’ve seen some growth over the last 4 years but we aren’t there yet.
We are driven by our values to create an anti-oppressive space for our community. It’s not just about keeping the lights on—it’s about ensuring this inclusive space remains for years to come. And while we’ve worked hard to plan for the future, there are some essential bills that need our attention now.
To keep things running smoothly and start 2025 on a strong foundation, we need to raise $2,000 to cover the following expenses:
- Property taxes: $1,186
- Board insurance: $750
- Business insurance: $1,600
These costs add up, and while we’ve prepared as much as possible, we faced steep inflation and other political and community changes that have affected our bottom line.
We are asking those who are able to contribute to donate today. Every dollar makes a difference, and together we can meet this goal and set ourselves up for success in the year ahead.
