President’s Message – September 20, 2023
Hello New Members!
We have noticed that most of our new members have not fully completed the New Member Scavenger Hunt. We created this scavenger hunt to help us get to know you and for you to get to know us. It’s also a process that helps us during the process of voting you in. We want to know that you have been to the club and that you are interacting with the space.
It seems like it’s been a crazy summer for everyone, us included, and the board is behind on voting new members in. This is partially due to the changes in the sign up process and the other major changes we implemented for the club. Given all this, we want to give everyone more time to complete these tasks.
All members that have signed up from May 1st until July 15th will have until Oct 31st to complete the scavenger hunt. Those who do not complete it will not be voted in as a full member.
The board has a lot more in the works and we appreciate all of you for hanging with us as we work on these changes. I’m excited to see a more structured club with a strong foundation that will allow us to live out our mission and have some fun!
Also, as a side note. I know I haven’t spent a lot of time at the club this summer and if you haven’t heard yet, my wife and I moved! When I say moved, I mean closer to the club! I am looking forward to more Thursday dinners with you.
