Presidents Message
Hello members and friends! Things are heating up outside which means it’s almost time for pride. There is so much to be prideful for this year and especially for this amazing queer-friendly space and community we have created. Our unapologetic queer space has gotten the attention of many organizations and groups which is so great for our growth. As you know with growth comes some change and we are working hard to make sure the changes made sustain us and help us connect more.
You all should have gotten information about Club Express and how to log in to that site. Amy Phillips has done a wonderful job at helping streamline paying dues and signing up for membership. The site also includes a member directory, so if you have time or haven’t done this already, please add a photo and some info about yourself so other members can find you. This directory is such a great mini social network for us, especially for us who have trouble remembering names and connecting names with faces. Be on the lookout for a member picture day as well.
We are also still fundraising for our Shade Shack, you may have encountered Glenda at some events asking for donations. We are so close. If you want to donate digitally please send funds to duescpc@gmail.com via PayPal or you can donate at the club.
I’m ready for a fun summer at CPC and I hope you are too!
